7 steps to your study place
1. Find out about the tuition fee
for the degree program of your choice.
At Carinthia University of Applied Sciences you pay EUR 363.36 per semester plus an additional EUR 20.20 student union fee.
2. If you need a visa,
keep in mind that this process can take a few months.
Our tip: you should apply for the residence permit at least three months before the date of the entrance examination.
3. Do you need financial aid?
There are scholarships and various possibilities for receiving financial support while studying in Austria.
4. Have you taken care of your accommodations?
We are happy to support you in finding a nice place to stay during your studies in Austria.
5. Do you have health insurance for your stay in Austria?
It is recommended that international students take an additional health insurance for Austria. More information about the Austrian national insurance system can be found in our “International Student Guide”
6. Is it possible to work during your studies?
Under certain conditions students are allowed to work in Austria.
7. Please pay attention to the application deadlines!
For EU citizens:
We have three application periods starting in November each year:
1st period: November 1 – March 15
2nd period: March 16 – May 15
3rd period: May 16 – July 15
For Non-EU citizens:
We accept only applications that are submitted in periods 1 and 2.
