{"id":1368,"date":"2011-05-03T22:16:09","date_gmt":"2011-05-03T20:16:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.fh-kaernten.at\/wehr\/?p=1368"},"modified":"2012-07-22T10:14:45","modified_gmt":"2012-07-22T08:14:45","slug":"nvidia-tegra-adb-driver-installation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.fh-kaernten.at\/wehr\/2011\/05\/03\/nvidia-tegra-adb-driver-installation\/","title":{"rendered":"Nvidia Tegra ADB driver installation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p id=\"top\" \/>Since a couple of people ask me about installing the ADB stuff, &#8230; here we go.. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>So these is how i managed to get it working.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Remove your POV drivers, these drivers are for rescue stuff.<\/li>\n<li>Install the <a href=\"http:\/\/developer.android.com\/sdk\/index.html\">Latest Android SDK<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Open the SDK Manager in &#8220;Admin&#8221; Mode and download and under &#8220;Available Packages&#8221; -&gt; &#8220;Third party Add-ons&#8221; download the &#8220;Google USB Driver package.\u00a0 After installation you will find the ADB driver under &#8220;..Android\\android-sdk\\extras\\google\\usb_driver&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Goto &#8220;..Android\\android-sdk\\extras\\google\\usb_driver&#8221; and open android_winusb.inf.\n<ol>\n<li>Search for [Google.NTx86] and [Google.NTamd64] add<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>;NVIDIA Tegra<\/p>\n<p>%SingleAdbInterface% = USB_Install, USB\\VID_0955&amp;PID_7000<\/p>\n<p>%CompositeAdbInterface% = USB_Install, USB\\VID_0955&amp;PID_7100&amp;MI_0<strong>1 <\/strong><span style=\"font-size: x-small;\">(well spotted Michael \ud83d\ude42 )<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Open a shell an execute &#8220;echo 0x955&gt;&gt; %USERPROFILE%\\.android\\adb_usb.ini&#8221; <span style=\"font-size: x-small;\">(now without post space after hex, well spottet susafi!)<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Connect your POV to your PC. Open the device manager. Here you should see something like &#8220;Nvidia Harmony with a yellow sign.<\/li>\n<li>Right-click it and click \u2018Update Driver Software..\u2019. -&gt; select to pick from a list device drivers on your computer<\/li>\n<li>Browse to the <em>google-usb_driver<\/em> folder inside your Android SDK folder and select the <em>android_winusb.inf<\/em> file<\/li>\n<li>Now you should see a new section &#8220;Android Phone&#8221; -&gt; &#8220;Android Composite ADB Inteface&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Stop &#8211; Start you ADB server and check with &#8220;adb devices&#8221; for your POV. You should see something like<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">List of devices attached<br \/>\n0270308343a11617\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 device<\/p>\n<p>One last note, if you have troubles deinstalling your POV driver, you can use &#8220;USBDeview&#8221;.
