Telecare, or remote caregiving, is designed to complement traditional, in-person care and support services by leveraging digital connectivity to unite various stakeholders within a single, supportive online platform.<\/span><\/p><p><span lang=\"EN-US\">The MedTech\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: var(--sydney-text-color)\">colleagues from Aging Research Center (IARA),\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: var(--sydney-text-color)\">Johannes Oberzaucher and Christoph Voutsinas,<\/span><span style=\"color: var(--sydney-text-color)\">\u00a0and the colleagues from the research group ENABLE, Daniela Krainer and Lukas Wohofsky, contribute to this initiative with their expertise in participatory technology development and the transdisciplinary evaluation of digital health applications. This involvement encompasses both the analysis of care services and needs, and the implementation and evaluation of the TeleCareHub platform.<\/span><\/p><p><span lang=\"EN-US\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.fh-kaernten.at\/med-tech\/files\/2024\/02\/post30_telecarehub2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"618\" height=\"412\" \/><\/span><\/p><p>At its core, TeleCareHub is an internet-based technology platform tailored for individuals requiring care, their families, and professional caregivers. Its objective is to enable people with care needs to live independently at home for as long as possible. Unlike one-size-fits-all solutions, TeleCareHub offers a suite of customizable modules to meet the diverse needs of its users.<\/p><p>The platform is designed to host an extensive array of services and solutions that not only provide medical assistance but also address safety and communication needs.
