Der Kasten besteht aus einem zweiteiligen Pultgeh\u00e4use aus Kunststoff. Er bietet ein Bedienpanel mit eingebautem Drehkondensator, zwei Potentiometern, einem Drehspulmesswerk, einem Lautsprecher, sowie Leuchtdioden. Jede Klemme nimmt vier Kontakte auf. Komplexere Bauteile wie Transistoren oder IC\u00b4s, sind auf kleinen Platinen vormontiert und werden &#8222;im St\u00fcck&#8220; auf die Klemmbl\u00f6cke gesteckt. Dazu geh\u00f6ren unter anderen auch der NE555 Timerbaustein, ein kleiner Verst\u00e4rker-IC und ein Logikbaustein der 40er Serie. Betrieben wird der Elektronik-Baukasten mit einer 9V Blockbatterie. Er besteht aus insgesamt 326 Teilen und das Handbuch bietet eine gro\u00dfe Anzahl von Experimenten. Insgesamt sind es 313. Sie reichen von einfachsten Grundschaltungen wie Spannungsteiler, Vorwiderstand und Leuchtdiode, bis hin zu Transistorschaltungen wo Arbeitspunkt und Gegenkopplung erkl\u00e4rt wird. Viele Experimente werden mit dem Timer IC durchgef\u00fchrt.
