Johannes Oberzaucher acts as professor for Active and Assisted Living at the Carinthia University of Applied Sciences (CUAS), is the lead of the department for “Health and Assistive Technologies” at the Institute for Applied Research on Ageing (IARA) and is part of the Austrian „Research Group for Assisted Living Technologies“ (RALTEC).

Johanna Plattner completed her bachelor’s degree in Medical Engineering (2011-2014) and continued with the master program Health Care IT (2014-2016) at the Carinthia University of Applied Sciences. Since 2016 she works as junior researcher in the field of Active and Assisted Living at the Department of Medical Engineering.
|Dipl.-Ing.in Daniela Elisabeth Ströckl
Since 2015 Daniela Ströckl is an employee of the Carinthia University of Applied Sciences in the medical engineering department. Her main research fields are AAL, User Experience and Human-System Interface development (design and interaction). Moreover, she is an engineering science PHD student at the Alpen Adria University with an emphasis on computer science.
|Dipl.-Ing.in Sandra Lisa Lattacher
Sandra Lattacher has been working at the Carinthia University of Applied Sciences since July 2018 in the field of Active and Assisted Living at the Department of Medical Engineering. From 2008 to 2014 she completed her Bachelor’s degree in Medical Information Technology and her Master’s degree in Health Care IT at the Carinthia University of Applied Sciences. In recent years, her professional focus has been on the acquisition, implementation and completion of multidisciplinary funding and research projects.
|Mag. Irene Terpetschnig
Irene Terpetschnig has joined the AAL team in July 2018. She has worked in international projects for many years and has specialized in PR, Fundraising, and Project and Event Management in the Education Sector. Prior to her activity at CUAS Irene Terpetschnig worked as area coordinator at the Academy of Social Management in Vienna.
|Elena Oberrauner, BSc.
Elena Oberrauner is scientific project assistant in the research group AAL. She is currently completing her master’s degree in Health Care IT. Its focus is primarily on diagnostic- and treatment-supporting systems in medical informatics and in the field of health economics.
|Dipl.-Ing. Michael Karl Reiner
Michael Reiner has been working in the field of medical technology at CUAS since 2011. His specialization includes not only medical image processing but also signal analysis and automatic classification as well as the development of web-based information systems and mobile applications. He is actively teaching in the area of applied computer science as well as in various research projects.
